I joined PointsBet 5 years ago as a Delivery Manager and quickly moved into Product Management. What I love most about working at PointsBet is the culture, the opportunities for growth and learning, the fun events they put on, and the chance to talk and learn about betting every day. Long term, I have big plans for my future at PointsBet. I want to become a product lead and have more authority over our promotions offering and being the best in the industry. I want to be a subject matter expert and make key decisions that will lead my team to success.
I joined PointsBet in 2021 through the Customer Service team based on the Gold Coast. PointsBet has been an exciting and challenging place to work full of opportunities to grow and learn off the great minds employed here. Since starting university and applying in the Customer Service role, with the help of the team here I have been able to move to Melbourne and develop my skills to join the Commercial Compliance team.
PointsBet has been an exciting company to work for and has given me plenty of opportunities to work across multiple teams. While at university, I initially applied for a role as a Sports Trader, and this allowed me to understand how a betting company operates and manages risk. Since then, thanks to the focus that PointsBet have on learning and career progression, I’ve had opportunities to work in the Quants, Reporting and Data Engineering teams; experiences which have all been enjoyable and allowed me to expand my skillset.
